Pothos

Pothos plants are one of the most reliable and versatile choices for bioactive terrariums, vivariums, and naturalistic reptile and amphibian enclosures. Known for their fast growth, hardy nature, and ability to thrive in a wide range of humidity levels, pothos provide both functional and aesthetic benefits to any setup.
These plants adapt exceptionally well to tropical and semi‑tropical environments, making them ideal companions for dart frogs, tree frogs, geckos, anoles, isopods, and other microfauna. Their trailing vines create natural cover, climbing opportunities, and shaded microhabitats, while their dense root systems help stabilize substrate and support healthy soil structure.
Pothos also play an important role in the bioactive cycle. Their vigorous growth helps absorb excess nutrients, improve air quality, and support the overall balance of the ecosystem. Whether you’re building a lush tropical terrarium or adding greenery to a mixed‑species enclosure, pothos are a dependable, low‑maintenance plant that enhances both the look and function of your habitat.
