High‑quality natural bark pieces available in Small and Large sizes.
- Small pieces: approximately 6–9 inches in length
- Large pieces: approximately 16–24+ inches in length
Each piece is unique in shape and texture, but the quantity per order is always consistent.
Unlike thinner bark commonly sold online, these pieces are much thicker, denser, and heavier, making them ideal for large terrarium builds, bioactive enclosures, and setups for big reptiles that require sturdy climbing, hiding, or structural support. These pieces hold up extremely well under weight and humidity, offering both durability and a natural aesthetic.
Product Details:
Mossy bark hides collected from the forest floors of North Carolina. These pieces of bark each contain various levels of moss coverage. They are very thin and can be broken apart easy to use for multiple terrariums or various locations within the terrarium. This is an organic product free of pesticides and other chemicals.
Sterilization:
All bark hides are kept frozen in one of our freezers before purchase. This is to prevent pests and unwanted hitchhikers from contaminating the product, allowing you to safely add it to your terrarium without fear of unwanted guests. Freezing keeps the beneficial nutrients intact unlike heat treating methods.
